2016 Round-up and 2017 Goals

Happy New Year!

I love New Year's, because it represents a fresh start for the world (even if it's only because the number on the calendar is different). It also means that I get to take stock of where I am in my life, and where I want to go from here.

At the start of 2016, I said that I wanted to ...

  • Finish and publish Super Sporty 9 (Check!)
  • Finish The Dreamon (Still working on it, but almost)
  • Read loads of great books (Check!)
  • Meet new readers and share my stories with them (Check!)
  • Have a blast! (Check!)
Oh yeah, Super Sporty 9 is now available to buy on Amazon! I kind of forgot to post about it on this blog, but Charity over at onmykindle.net was kind enough to do a release day post and review for me here: http://www.onmykindle.net/2016/12/super-sporty-9.html. In the next few weeks, I'm going to write a post looking back on the Super Sporty series and how it's shaped me as a writer.

Anyway, in addition to the things mentioned above, in 2016 I ...

  • Moved to Texas
  • Redesigned this website with an awesome new template!

So that was cool.

My most popular post of the year was ...

"How to Make Your Writing Better by Changing One Word," which won by quite a long shot.

And finally, my goals for 2017 are ...

  • Get a print version of Super Sporty 9 out (to be accomplished in the next month or so)
  • Finish The Dreamon for good
  • Start looking into finding a literary agent for The Dreamon (after I've finished it, obv)
  • Read more great books (always)
  • Start working on some new projects (I have one or two new ideas in development)

Have an amazing new year, everybody!
